River City Automations is a technology company based in San Antonio, TX. We provide AI-powered phone answering, SMS automation, and business management software for service businesses.

When you sign up for or use our software, or contact us by phone, text, or email, we may collect:

Mobile number — to send you the account and service messages described in section 4.
Email address — for receipts, invoices, and account notices.
Business details — your business name, address, hours, and services, used to configure your AI receptionist, your business app, and your website.
Billing information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

Creating and configuring your account, AI receptionist, business app, and website.
Sending you account and service messages, including your setup link and admin PIN.
Alerting you when a customer calls or texts your AI receptionist, and delivering new leads.
Billing your subscription and sending receipts and invoices.
Providing customer support and responding to your questions.

4. SMS Messaging & Consent

How you opt in. Consent is given by checking a dedicated, pre-unchecked, optional box on our signup form — never by default, and never as a condition of signing up. If you leave it unchecked, we send your setup details and account notices by email instead, and your account works exactly the same. The box reads:

“Text me my setup link, admin PIN, and alerts when a customer calls or texts my AI receptionist, new lead notifications, and appointment reminders — from River City Automations at the mobile number above. This is the fastest way to get running; most owners are live in about 5 minutes. These are account and service messages, not marketing. Message frequency varies by account activity. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.”

We record the date and time consent was given along with the exact wording shown.

What we send. Account and service messages to the business owner who signed up:

Account setup links and your admin PIN
Alerts when a customer calls or texts your AI receptionist
New lead notifications
Appointment reminders and service updates
Invoices, receipts, and completed service reports

Businesses that use our software. If you are a customer of a business that uses River City Automations, that business collects its own consent from you and sends messages under its own name and phone number. This policy covers messages sent by River City Automations itself.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages.

5. Information Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories described below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information only with:

Service providers — such as our phone and messaging platforms (Twilio), solely to deliver our communications to you. These providers may not use your information for their own marketing.
